Ulus 29 is the brainchild of Metin Fadıllıoğlu, a local restaurateur that created several super-successful venues in the city, including the Beymen Brasserie in fashionable Nişantaşı district. It might have lost some of its club-like intimate feel after being sold to a big hospitality group, but its menu and panoramic Bosphorus scenery are as fascinating as ever. The innovative local chefs fuse global and local tastes here for creating plates with a special focus on seafood.
