Collection of the Palace Collections Museum (Saray Koleksiyonları Müzesi) consists of objects that were used in Ottoman palaces such as Beylerbeyi Palace, Aynalikavak Palace, and Dolmabahçe Palace in the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries. There are more than 40,000 objects in the museum and they give information regarding the daily life in Ottoman palaces. The objects in the museum include clothes, kitchenware, dinner sets, writing tools, carpets, and many others. In addition, the objects are exhibited under sections titled Being a Child in the Palace, Religious Life, Calligraphy, Health and Personal Care, Dinner Sets, Kitchen Tools, and Inlaid Artifacts. Located in one of the centers of Istanbul -Beşiktaş- make sure to not to miss this unique museum.
Situated in Beşiktaş, the easiest way to get to the Palace Collections Museum is to take a boat from Kadıköy, Eminönü, or Üsküdar and get off at Beşiktaş. The museum is next to the Beşiktaş pier.
